Two wheels

Rey: “Hey Clay, do you wanna fly to San Francisco, rent a couple bikes and drive them to L.A.?”

This was an epic trip. We camped most nights, though there were a few nights we pulled into full or crappy campsites. So a local hotel/motel sufficed just fine.

In Chicago, I’d found a copy of Jack Kerouc’s Big Sur before we began this classic road trip. It was a perfect travel companion but not as great as Rey. Thanks buddy. Everyday was an adventure.
